What format are the photos in? All Camera-Magic photos are in JPG format.
Do you add photos on a regular basis? Yes. We add photos as they are taken. Click on "Newest Photos" to see the latest photos that we have posted.
Can I submit photos to sell? Right now the only photos that we sell are the ones taken by Camera-Magic and it's partners. In the future we may consider this.
Do you offer refunds? Once your purchase is made we can not offer a refund. The reason for this policy is because we offer full access to our entire digital collection of photos and, as such, there is no way for our products to be returned. On a rare occasion we will make exceptions on a case by case basis.
Why use an Event Photographer? Event photography is an immensely popular addition to any function or event and best of all with Camera Magic..... in most cases, it costs you nothing! We add a further dimension to your event, be it a Black-tie Ball, School Prom, Corporate Day or any function and guests go home with an added memento of their experience.
What do you do? On the day of a typical social event we will...
- Set up our fully equipped digital studio
- Photograph guests
- Guests can view their photos and purchase any that they like
- Photos are printed and mounted within a minute
We arrive approximately an hour before the event is due to start. We set up our mini studio with backdrop and flash lighting and also our mini-lab. This is done with minimal fuss and disruption. Guests can be photographed as they enter the venue and at any time during the course of the event. Once we've taken a number of photos the guests are invited to review them on our touch-screen monitors. If they wish to make a purchase we will immediately print the photo and mount it. The process is complete within a minute and produces stunning photos of the same quality and type as a commercial photographic laboratory. Guests go home with their photos as a permanent reminder of the event. We will usually stay until the end of the event, after which all photos are uploaded to our web site within 2 working days of the event. The photos can then be viewed (password protected if appropriate), selected and purchased in a variety of different sizes and formats directly from the web site. There is no obligation to purchase any photograph at any time - customer satisfaction is of prime importance to us.
What do you need us to do? Nothing !! After inviting us to attend your event, we do everything but it does help if you can encourage your guests to buy the photographs
What does it cost? In most cases we will attend free of charge, photograph the guests and sell prints at the event. There is absolutely no obligation to buy. Your guests will be able to review the photos on our monitors first - if they like the photographs they may choose to make a purchase.
How can guests pay ? We accept cash and major credit cards
Can you print the photos in black and white ? Monochrome or sepia effects can add a different flavour to your photos. Our mini-lab can print colour, black and white, and sepia - the choice is yours. These choices can also be made through the web site.
Can reprints be ordered ? All photographs taken at the event appear on our web site usually within 2 working days (password protected if appropriate) where prints and reprints of differing sizes can be ordered directly.
What kind of events do you cover ? Pretty much anything really including Black-tie Balls, Golf Days, Dinner Dances, School Proms, Graduations, Private Parties, Corporate, Social and Sports Events. We will accommodate any event however unusual !
How much space do you need ? We need to set up a mini studio and mini-lab facility. Ideally, we need a space of approximately 20' by 20', ideally in the same room as the Event.
Can you offer an 'inclusive' package so that our staff or guests don't need to pay for their own photos ? Yes - sometimes it's appropriate for the organizers to include the photos as a memento of the event. We can offer very competitive rates
Do you have a special package for charities and fundraisers ? We gladly donate part of the evening's proceeds to the Charity. |
